The University of Huddersfield is looking for a Games Development Manager (Controller) to join a new research centre dedicated to the creation of serious gaming interventions for education settings for the prevention of violence against women and girls. The None in Three Centre has been established by the University of Huddersfield in partnership with other UK institutions and universities in China, Jamaica, India and Uganda
The Games Development Manager will have a critical role in the games development as well as inspiring and motivating the development team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take a critical role in a key element of a developing, international-focussed project, with additional benefits at working at a world-class University including the chance for the post-holder to pursue a PhD in serious gaming.
You should have a good working knowledge of the games industry and experience of at least one of the following: Programming, Design, QA Testing, or games Project Management. In addition, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and will have excellent time management and organisational skills.
If you are currently registered as a full-time student at the University please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
