The Role
We are looking for a creative professional with a strong track record in Mechanical Engineering to join the team in the Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Subject area within the School of Computing and Engineering.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver an inspirational learning experience, predominantly to our foundation year undergraduate students in the area of Engineering. Alongside academic duties, you will engage in research aligned to one of our vibrant and successful Research Institutes. Experience of teaching, and undertaking research and/or industry experience in engineering, are essential, supported by excellent team working and communication skills.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in an engineering discipline or related field
- Doctoral Qualification
- Teaching Qualification/Member of HEA or capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment
- Publication record demonstrating a strong track record in research in the area of mechanical engineering
