An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, experienced and self-motivated manager to join Huddersfield Business School to contribute to the delivery of the School's aspirations to build its national and international reputation for excellence in teaching, research and external engagement.
We are seeking someone with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, who is passionate about higher education, and understands the role and importance of accreditations and rankings in maintaining and improving standards, and demonstrating the Schools commitment to matters of significant importance.
Through a proactive and collegiate approach, the post holder will develop and deliver the School's accreditation and rankings strategy by:
- Establishing themselves as an approachable expert on accreditation and external assessment standards and requirements, for example for AACSB, REF, and Athena Swan;
- Analysing School performance data and preparing reports and recommendations to inform short- and long-term School strategic priorities;
- Proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities for the acquisition of new (and maintenance of existing) accreditations, at both School and Programme-level;
- Preparing detailed submissions associated with a highly successful Business School;
- Building productive and enduring relationships with internal colleagues and external entities; and,
- Successfully leading a strategically important team to deliver a responsive and coordinated service that exceeds expectations.
