An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, highly organised and customer-focused team player to join Huddersfield Business School to work as part of the Education Services Team providing a comprehensive and responsive administrative service in support of the processes, procedures and regulations associated with the student and course lifecycles.
This is a busy, varied and important role requiring a meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multi-task to ensure that all tasks are executed effectively to the highest of standards. The successful applicant will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and take pride in providing a service that exceeds expectations and ensures a seamless customer experience for both staff and students.
Key duties include:
- Provision of advice and guidance to academic and professional services staff on the interpretation of relevant aspects of the University's course and student regulations, policies and procedures;
- The creation, maintenance and auditing of student/course/module records, and related information, held within the relevant University records and information systems;
- Coordinating and providing administrative support for Course and Module Leaders and key activities within the student lifecycle, such as timetabling, attendance monitoring, academic integrity, and assessment for all levels of study.
Applicants will have a good understanding of the student lifecycle and the importance of data quality in a higher education context, and will be able to satisfy all other essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
