An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, highly organised and customer-focused administrator to join Huddersfield Business School to work as part of the Education Services Team providing a comprehensive and responsive administrative service in support of the student lifecycle and quality assurance and enhancement activities.
This is a busy and varied role requiring a meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multi-task to ensure that all tasks are executed effectively to the highest of standards. The successful applicant will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and take pride in providing a service that exceeds expectations.
Key duties include:
- The maintenance of student/course/module records, and related information, held within the relevant University records and information systems;
- Provision of administrative support for key activities within the student lifecycle (e.g. timetabling, attendance monitoring, and assessment) and for internal and external quality assurance and enhancement processes and initiatives;
- Supporting the production, maintenance and publication of accurate course and module information via handbooks and the VLE; and
- Shared responsibility for servicing meetings such as Student Panels, Course Committees, Academic Integrity Hearings, etc.
Applicants will have experience of administrative work in a busy office environment and will be able to satisfy all other essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
