Fixed term appointment for 9 months (maternity cover), 37 hours per week
The School of Music, Humanities and Media is a leader in student-centred academic excellence. The work of the Professional Administrative Team within the School plays a crucial part in the achievement of this objective.
Due to the maternity leave of the current School Administration Manager, we are now seeking a fixed term appointment to provide ongoing management and leadership for the delivery of high quality administrative and support services within the School, at both strategic and operational levels.
You will bring a strong and varied experience in the management of administrative support structures, through which you can demonstrate expertise in managing people, complex administrative processes, marketing, financial and strategic planning and you will be informed on the current context of higher education and the challenges it faces.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent, you should have experience of leading teams in comparable environments in higher education or elsewhere, with a track-record in achieving change to the benefit of internal and external clients.
