Fixed term appointment for 24 months, Full Time
The School of Computing and Engineering is seeking to recruit a Research Fellow to take a leading role in the development of waste heat recovery systems based on thermoacoustic technologies. This work is supported by the recently awarded EPSRC grant, HARP2, involving Universities of Huddersfield and Manchester. We have two Research Fellow vacancies available, with this particular post focussing mostly on experimental aspects of the proposed research and development programme.
You will have a PhD in the subject of thermoacoustic engines and/or refrigerators and be experienced in design, construction, debugging and testing of thermoacoustic electricity generators.
If you are currently registered as a full-time student at the University please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
