A challenging opportunity has arisen within the School for an experienced Executive Officer to the Dean with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
You should be enthusiastic, reliable and able to work on your owninitiative, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels, particularly as a member of a team. You should possess the relevant skills and personal qualities to undertake the range of duties and the ability to work accurately and consistently.
You must be educated to at least degree level, you will be a dynamic, proactive and entrepreneurial individual, with excellent team-working skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of business stake holders.
The externally facing aspects of this role involve contact, both in person and on the telephone, with high-status organisations whose relationships are highly valued by the School and University.
You must possess good organisational skills, experience of organising events and diary management and minuting meetings. Experience of preparing documents for internal audits, or experience ofworking in Higher Education would be a distinct advantage.
You must have experience and usage of computer packages such as MicrosoftWord, working on excel spreadsheets and databases. Training will be provided for all relevant University specific packages.
