Permanent, 37 hours per week
The Research and Enterprise Directorate at the University of Huddersfield is looking for an experienced, proactive and versatile team member to help support our growing research and enterprise agenda. You will work with the Schools of Computing and Engineering and Applied Sciences to develop skills, capacity and grant proposals, as part of a busy central Pre-Award team working across the University. You will have a degree or equivalent in a discipline relevant to Computing, Engineering and Applied Sciences and a good understanding of the research funding arena in these discipline areas.
This is a key role both within the Directorate and University, as you will work collaboratively with academic and support staff across the institution to develop successful research grant and contract bids to external funders. You will therefore have a track record in writing/contributing to successful funding applications.
