The University of Huddersfield seeks to appoint three geography lecturers to contribute to new BSc programmes in Geography, Physical Geography, and Human Geography. These are research-active appointments based in a well-equipped and funded School of Applied Sciences.
You should have a degree and PhD in a relevant area. For appointment at Lecturer level, you will be expected to establish an independent research portfolio in a relevant area. For appointment at Senior Lecturer level it is expected that you will have already established an independent research record in an appropriate field.
To complement areas of existing research strength, we are particularly pleased to hear from applicants with research interests in the areas of earth sciences, ecology, GIS or human geography. Applicants with experience in undergraduate teaching are also welcomed. Part-time appointments at 0.5 FTE or above will be considered.
