The School wishes to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Electronic Engineering and Embedded Systems to undertake teaching, research and supporting activities within the Electronic and Electrical Engineering subject area. You will have knowledge and expertise which enables you to contribute effectively to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the area of digital electronics and embedded systems.
You will be able to demonstrate significant research potential and will be required to engage actively in research. You will also be able to demonstrate the potential to become a teacher of high-quality, an effective team worker and an excellent communicator.
To ensure competence in the teaching role, you will be expected to either be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy or be in a position to apply for this recognition within 12 months of appointment. In the latter case, support will be provided by the University to facilitate the application process.
A PhD in a relevant subject is an essential requirement for this role.
If you are currently registered as a full-time student at the University please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
