An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, conscientious and articulate quality assurance professional to join Huddersfield Business School as part of the Education Services Team. With responsibility for providing a comprehensive and responsive administrative and advisory service, the successful candidate will not only play an important role in maintaining standards and ensuring compliance with School, University and External Body requirements, but will also help to identify and pursue opportunities to enhance practice.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and a meticulous attention to detail, are essential to ensure that the successful applicant is able to develop and maintain productive and enduring relationships with colleagues across the School and University, as well as with external contacts.
Key duties include:
*Provision of advice and guidance on the interpretation of relevant aspects of the University's quality assurance and enhancement regulations, policies and procedures;
*Responsibility for the day-to-day implementation of key aspects of the University's regulatory and quality assurance framework within the School, for example in relation to annual monitoring and evaluation, and course validation and review;
*Supporting the effective operation of our portfolio of collaborative partnerships; and,
*Working closely with the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) and Education and Research Services Manager, to monitor practice and matters of interest across the School, to ensure that good practice is disseminated, and where issues or opportunities are identified, that these are systematically addressed;
Applicants will have working knowledge of higher education quality assurance regulatory frameworks, procedures and systems, and will be able to satisfy all other essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
