We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Records Manager to assist the University Records Manager in the management of the University’s corporate records.
Duties will include providing support and guidance to staff, promoting the service and delivering training sessions in information management. You will also assist in making appropriate arrangements for retrieval, access, retention and disposal of University records, in accordance with appropriate legislation, standards, best practice and policies; in particular, assisting with the use of the Electronic Document and Records Management System and the development of a Student Records Management project.
You will work alongside colleagues in the Archives service based in the Heritage Quay. You will also be expected to supervise archive assistants and volunteers, and liaise with a wide-range of internal and external stakeholders.
If you are currently registered as a student at the University, please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
