Fixed term for 9 months, full time
Would you like to join a team of experienced HE administration professionals supporting the University’s regulatory framework for taught programmes? Would you like to develop processes and procedures and get involved in student casework? Are you motivated to find solutions and improve customer service? If so, you might like to join us!
Our Registry service is a small and vibrant team committed to continuous improvement of the student experience and the processes and systems we use to manage it. Based in a central department and working collaboratively across the institution, the successful candidate will be familiar with working within and across teams to achieve organisational goals. You will enjoy giving advice and guidance and looking for ways to improve organisational processes. You will be accustomed to liaising with a broad range of people and will show an understanding of the challenges faced by students in higher education. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Quality Assurance in higher education and be familiar with applying student regulations to a range of circumstances including disciplinary cases, complaints, fitness to practise, and attendance monitoring.
You will join a small team, reporting to the Senior Registry Officer (Taught Provision), and play an active role within the wider Registry team. There will be opportunities for you to get involved in project work and other developmental activities as well.
Informal enquiries are welcome to Philippa Hill, Senior Registry Officer (Taught Provision) via email: registry@hud.ac.uk. We can also organise an informal video-conference discussion with you, if you prefer.
This is a fixed term appointment for 9 months, however, as the post is linked to a maternity absence the end date is subject to change.
If you are currently registered as a student at the University, please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
