Permanent, 14.8 hours per week
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner to join the team at University of Huddersfield Press, based within Computing and Library Services.
The role is demanding and varied; main duties will revolve around providing administrative support for the publishing workflow of our Open Access journals and monographs and contributing to the provision of an efficient and effective service of the Press. Working alongside the Press and Marketing Manager, you will have experience of working in a pressured environment, liaising with contacts such as suppliers and authors/editors, using social media tools for marketing purposes, and creating reports on usage statistics.
You will have an understanding of/ interest in the higher education sector and academic publishing, as well as 5 GCSEs and 2 A Levels (or equivalent qualifications/experience).
Hours of work for the post are 14.8 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday.
