We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and experienced graduate midwife to join a friendly and motivated team, teaching and researching within a Department of Nursing and Midwifery.
You will be involved in the teaching and development of a range of undergraduate, postgraduate midwifery and health related programmes, including where appropriate, the supervision of doctoral students. You will also provide support to students and mentors within clinical practice areas.
Commitment to facilitating student centred learning and innovative approaches to midwifery education are essential. You should have knowledge of a broad range of contemporary midwifery practice and research.
Applicants should possess appropriate professional qualifications, and relevant post registration experience as a midwife. Having or working towards completing a masters or equivalent degree is essential, and applicants should either have or be prepared to work towards a doctoral qualification and a recordable teaching qualification with Higher Education Academy recognition.
